    Do I need council approval to remove or prune a tree?

    Some trees are protected or need council approval before pruning or removal. We will let you know if approval is likely to be needed and can guide you through it. If you are unsure, please send us a photo via the enquiry form, and we will let you know.

    How much do tree services cost?

    Cost depends on the type and size of the tree, the service required and the working conditions. We do not work to fixed fees, we inspect first and give you an accurate, customised quote. See tree removal for more on what affects the price.

    Can I remove a tree myself?

    Tree removal is not a job for a chainsaw and a ladder. It takes proper training, experience and equipment to do safely, and getting it wrong risks damage to your property. It is always safer to leave it to qualified professionals. More on tree removal.

    When is the best time to prune my trees?

    A damaged or diseased branch can be pruned any time, the sooner the better. For maintenance pruning, most trees are best done while dormant, though it varies by species. More on tree pruning.

    Do you offer emergency storm response?

    Yes. If a tree has fallen or is about to, call us straight away and we will get a crew out as soon as we can. More on emergency storm response.
